A Planning Inspector, appointed by the Secretary of State, will now conduct an examination into the DAP\u2019s soundness and legal compliance.<\/p>\n<p>The DAP is the second part of Newcastle\u2019s Local Plan. The Local Plan is a collection of documents that will guide the future development in Newcastle to 2030. The DAP plays an important role in shaping the future of Newcastle. It provides more detailed policies to support and help to deliver the strategic policies set out in the Core Strategy and Urban Core Plan (CSUCP) which was adopted in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The DAP and Submission Documents include;<br \/>\n\u2022 Submission Development and Allocations Plan (DAP)<br \/>\n\u2022 Submission DAP Policies Map<br \/>\n\u2022 Schedule of Minor Modifications<br \/>\n\u2022 Consultation Feedback Report<br \/>\n\u2022 Sustainability Appraisal<br \/>\n\u2022 Duty to Co-Operate Statement<br \/>\n\u2022 Supporting documents relevant to the preparation of the DAP<\/p>\n<p>These documents are available to view online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newcastle.gov.uk\/localplan2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.newcastle.gov.uk\/localplan2<\/a> and at Newcastle Civic Centre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Newcastle City Council\u2019s Submission Development and Allocations Plan (DAP), submission documents and supporting documents were submitted to the Secretary of State for examination on 13 March 2019.
